The initiative titled "Rotary Babies 2025" aims to support families and promote birth rates in our country.
As
part of a joint effort by the Rotary community in Bosnia and
Herzegovina, 65 newborn babies were gifted yesterday and today in
Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Bihać, Brčko, Bijeljina,
Doboj, and Zenica.
The campaign includes symbolic gifts and
support for families of babies born on this special day, along with a
message of solidarity and togetherness. Through this initiative, Rotary
clubs across BiH once again affirm their long-standing commitment to
humanitarian action and improving the quality of life in local
communities.
The "Rotary Babies 2025" initiative carries special significance as it takes place in a jubilee year – marking 120 years since the founding of the Rotary movement, a global network of individuals dedicated to creating positive change in the world.
The Rotary movement was founded on February 23, 1905, in Chicago, and today operates as a global network of more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries.
Rotary clubs are recognized for their commitment to humanitarian
projects, promoting peace, fighting disease, ensuring access to clean
water, and supporting education. The "Rotary Babies 2025" campaign is yet another step toward strengthening these values in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
